About Us
D'PUC Credit Union was chartered on August 1939 and organized for IDES Employees (previously Division of Placement and Unemployment Compensation [D'PUC]). D’PUC is a credit union that was established to help fellow co-workers save money for their future and provide loans at reasonable rates. We have a friendly small staff and aspire to make every member feel at home at our financial facility and build a stable long-term relationship.
Credit unions are organized and owned by its members and, due to lower overhead, can offer loans at a better discount rate when compared to other financial institutions. (Note: Credit unions are tax exempt because they are a nonprofit organization.) The income earned by credit union is returned to its members in the form of a dividend after all operating expenses have been paid.
Mission Statement: D'PUC Credit Union is owned and controlled by its members. We strive to provide the best possible financial service to meet our members' needs while maintaining the credit union's long-term financial stability.
